Well... it seems the general consensus is that everyone is pretty much against braving the chance of getting pulled over at SBN... can't say that I blame you.

The stereo show isn't what it's cracked up to be anymore, and I don't even know if any of the little shows that are being held next weekend would be worth attending.

So... the masses have spoken, and they seem to want a BBQ, eh?

Location is the only question... well, seeing as how we probably will be trading the Mansion for the Plantation sometime soon it's probably fitting to have one last BBQ before we say goodbye.

So, I'm offering up the space. As for the food and drink, well it will be BYOE (everything). I don't have the funds to front anything since I'm broke.

We can play some corn-hole, knock back a few brews, maybe even have a bonfire.

I'm sure Tanya would be happy to take some pics for the flyer... we have plenty of space to stage some photos around here.

Who knows, maybe we can even have a spark session... 

If you guys are interested in doing it here, let me know. Basically I will provide the space, and the grill, you guys provide the rest. I do think I still have some frozen hot dog buns left from the XMAS picnic... LOL

when you mean masses to you just mean scott? since he was the one who brought it up? i'd be down for whatever. i think i might have to plans to pick up some scrape metal for projects but i will see how that will pan out.  i could bring my own mcdonalds or wait scratch that checkers. but it would be good to hang out at the "stink water" inn.

You know I'm always the one who has to ask...is this a kid-friendly BBQ?  And, are we talking Saturday or Sunday? Just trying to find out in advance since Billy will wait until the last minute to tell me...

Well... I spoke with Billy today, and he said he wasn't interested in a BBQ. He said he feels like we should go to Spring Break and be "back on the scene". He thought everyone was down for going to Daytona this weekend, and seemed upset that most everyone didn't want to go.

So he said he wasn't really down for a BBQ. David has obviously let his split personality do the talking as well because he said he didn't want to go to spring break, but I swear he said he was down for a group get together or BBQ.

Tim said he was down for a BBQ and thinks the club should chip in for food. I told him, I don't care about those details, I was just saying you could use our place since there is plenty of room.

Personally, Sea World is starting to look good. That was my original plan before quite a few people mentioned having a BBQ. If no one is interested, then so be it. It doesn't break my heart. I will be happy to find something else to do. I should probably be packing up for the big move anyways.

As for kid friendly, I would imagine a BBQ during the day would pretty much have to be kid friendly.

In reference to what day, it was mentioned several times about a BBQ on Sunday in the SBN thread, so I'm guessing that's because when people wanted to do it because they are free?

Let me know soon. Tomorrow is Friday, and if no one is really interested, I'd like to make other plans to either keep packing, or do something else.

#2- Billy, sorry, SBN just isn't what it used to be. not sure what "scene" there is to be out in.

#3- Yep, Sunday is the day, but I gotta go by 4-5pm for family dinner with the in-laws. whoo-hoo.

#4- Not my house, but I think kids is ok for dayitme events 90% of the time, but yes, safer to ask.

#5- Starting the earlier the better for me, see #3.

#6- Don't know what kinda cash the club has, so, everybody bring your own shiz. If you wanna eat.
