Well since ive been neglecting my truck. i think she needs a little attention. so step # number tear everything out starting with the fuel / air tank then bed...heres some pictures..

now after 2 hours of work. the bed is ready to come off. all i need is maybe 2 people to help me out for about 5 minutes... hint hint....its already unbolted and just needs to be lifted off... so whos down?

lol your way late. bed came off last night. but i could use some more ideas. and if tim feels like maybe some welding. i got him some 1/4" steel flat bar.

the great news is im getting a fuel cell made from my guy at work. i just need some mearsurements for my fab guy. he said he'll do it for 100 bucks... which isnt bad i think.

so now no ugly ass fuel tank in the bed of my truck. insted im gonna have an ugly ass air tank in the bed.

soooo it looks like the truck might be down for a while. funds permitting.

but deff come on over tonight someone can watch me and timmy work

damn... well... i don't know about coming by to watch, i should really get off my ass, and make room in the computer room / vinyl room so i can clear out the 57 and get ready to do SOMETHING to it...

oh, and it better not be down for a while!!! we need to have someone who will have something for SLAMFEST, especially if Scott, Tim, Billy, or I don't get something ready to take!!!

if you guys hang on, and let me get the 57 where i can move it in and out of the garage we will have another place to do these sorts of things in a short hurry rather than let it drag out for months on end when it could have been just a weekend project!!!

lol well do work then!!  . my truck "shouldnt" be down long. but it seems that i keep getting those ideas lol. once i get some more mearsurements with tim. i will have the correct size for the fuel cell. then it should just be some clean up and reassemble.

 ive been needing to do this. as everyone has. i think the best ride is a reliable one. besides slamfest isnt till october. so of course ill be ready. the question is will you?

got some clean up done on the truck today.. look at all the water from my damn air tank... their was seriously like 1-1/2 gallons in it..

 hey tim can i come by and pick up your welder? atleast i could maybe weld up some of the small holes. i got a few small peices of copper flat bar. ill by more spools of wire if need be. and ill throw you some cash for cytelene.
